The arrest of 2 poachers throws light on illegal trade. The incidents of poaching of tiger and a seizure of tiger pelt in a house in Kerala has come to light after two years of poaching.

They get paid so much for wild animal parts. They get greedy and want more even after getting caught and just fined. Yes a very long prison sentence.

A very high fine and prison. Make the deterrent so bad, that no profit would be worth the effort.

Twenty years in prison is good if the government follow through on the prosecution and their imprisonment. If not it become another law on the books that is nothing more than a threat. God know poachers can't have enough bad thing happen to them. I think it should be a capital offense one for one with the animals they kill. Thanks Cher.

Everytime I read about poaching I get so depressed and discouraged because there seems to be no legal control over it! What can we do? Change human nature?

These poachers will never stop the horror. They are getting well paid to murder these poor animals and the law is not enforced properly.Too many pay offs too many evil officials, the only way to deter the poachers is a shoot on sight law.Something must be done now later will be too late for these hunted endangered animals.

Hire more people to watch over these reserves and give them the authority to catch these poachers at any cost.

Implement the mandatory death penalty to all poachers/hunters and those involved in any way.I would be more than happy to assist in implementing this required action.

Article Read and Noted. Thank You Cher.
A long sentence in jail might make poachers think twice.
