Bushmeat consumers? People eating meat in the bush? Seriously, the over use of antibiotics is a serious problem around the world. I don't know about the factory farming situation in Southern Africa for instance compared to the very predominant over use of it in some western nations such as the U.S.

It used to be that doctors would write a prescription for antibiotics and other prescription drugs in the past and even present at the drop of a hat and this in part has resulted in the development of antibiotic resistant treatments of various illnesses. Many hospitals are hosts to 'Super Bugs' and it looks as if the problem is getting worse. When wildlife start to show signs of a similar nature then it is time to be very concerned.

Good grief, thats terrible...we cause a lot of problems...not only for ourselves either, we affect everything around us, introducing deadly things into our environment. I wish the human race would stop eating animals!
Im afraid that anyone who is involved with bushmeat i dont feel an ounce of pity for. the cruelty involved with that is beyond even contemplating.
So the little banded mongoose is in trouble now, it doesnt stop does it. every day another species threatened by mankind. sorry, mancruel.
