This is both sad and encouraging. People like Carmen Bernard can restore our faith in humans, we can do the right thing. All good things for Carmen, Pretzel and the rest of the Bernard home.

Pets with disabilities live pretty normal lives if given the opportunity. I have several special needs companions and they're perfectly happy. Visitors are often surprised to finally notice that a cat has 3 legs, or one eye, or finds out that Yambo is blind and deaf. They don't notice it by the animal's behavior.
Bravo, Pretzel ~ you're a beauty!

Blessings to everyone and in particular Carmen who has made Pretzel's life a healthy and happy one. People who help animals are angels on earth.

To the person who left Pretzel on the side of the road --- karma is going to bite you in the ass!

To Bernard and family --- may life be an endless supply of purring and snuggles!

Pretzel is one lucky kitten, and a beauty!

To my experience animals with disabilities are often the most lovely pets. Pretzel is lucky, she´s got wonderful people who can afford the surgery.

Noted, tweeted, shared, tweeted and shared all the photos. Pretzel is amazing; he has that spirit not to give up. His courage is remarkable, and he seems happy and loving. Awesome cat and owner.
