Hope they can save and rescue all that will be possible.

And to think they want to run an oil pipeline north and south across our country. This could happen anywhere along that thing. I hope they can stop the fires soon before any more homes are destroyed. How frightening it is. The pics are awesome, thanks my friend. Those poor horses and that poor rabbit running all alone to get away and had to no doubt leave her babies behind. Wildfires are just so devastating.

California had a heatwave last week, plus the lack of rain help to fuel all the wildfires up and down the state, saw a bunch of fire trucks on I-80 last night, think they left one of the fires up in Napa County. wish there were pictures from the fires up here in Northern California

When you live in California you live with the threat of wildfires, landslides, earthquakes. These are natural events and wildfires do serve a purpose. The problem really arises from the fact that human habitation is invading and pushing further and further into wilderness areas. It's tragic to lose a home, but if you choose to live in a dangerous area you better be prepared for danger.

The southwest is living through a drought not seen in many years. California faces more danger than some other places that have been hit so badly in the past few years, because so many people are in the path of these fires. Nature is screaming at us, I wonder if anyone is listening.

A shame they can't control and harness these fires, as there is power and potential fuel to be gained from doing so... hope the firefighters win over and no one is hurt, harmed or lost as a result of them.

Ogień to jest straszny żywioł, współczuję mieszkańcom Kalifornii. Najgorsze jest to, że zginie wiele zwierząt okropną śmiercią.

I hope the little rabbit made it out ok. I don't have the $ for a house, living in a mobile home is scary enough-anywhere. But sure grateful to have it.

I have been watching this and get updates from the Disaster Site. Was going to post the photos/video I had see come through yesterday and never found the time. Thank you Cher for getting this out. California is going to be in harms way all the way up to October, this is going to be bad and everyone living in California knows they sadly some are still unprepared. You need a crate for your pet (I have 2) ~ water, food (for both you as well as your pet that can be used). Make a box, have it handy with all needed essentials since you may end up like some did at the QUALCOMM stadium and I offered a friend to stay with me that was the Scripps fire that ravaged San Diego and the Mountain many homes, creatures lost and this FIRE is early. If I see more information come through on this I will return. Thank you dear Cher.

Sorry "KNOW THAT SOME ARE STILL UNPREPARED" Keep your items current, flashlights etc Don't rely on anyone to help since a ton of people are going to be in the same boat, a couple days later help does come, I remember taking items to my church to take to people. Also, I had a ton of those stupid Beanie Babies in Lucite boxes, the firefighters were so happy to have those to give to children who had lost everything.

These are horrible images. It's so sad to think how the residents, wild and domestic animals feel. Every time there are really bad floods I wonder how can that water be sent West to protect forests and homes?
