Christian's Extraordinary Journey: 'I Bought a Lion in Harrods - and He Took Me to Africa'

This is a great story that most people have learned about. I think that having the resource of George Adamson and people that had the time and financial ability to provide a good home makes this one story a success. Most people should not take a wild animal home and just hope for the same out come.

This video is among my favorites. I first saw it many years ago and rewatch it often. I've also seen specials on TV about beautiful, noble Christian and the men who saved him!

Thank goodness you cant buy wild animals like that in shops now This was an amazing story and film but i wonder before it stopped how many animals must have suffered in private hands bought from places like this

Shows that all animals are capable of great love if given a chance. Most animals wild and domestic are mistreated and murdered before they get that chance.

yup...I'm one of the crying adults! :)
What a great story.... and a good message about not killing the animals, as that is what brings the tourist dollars.

I remember this story. The video of Christian reuniting with his friends after he had been living as a wild lion was just amazing. A real tear the best possible way.

Im afraid im a Christian junkie!! Once i saw that reunion clip and cried like a baby,i bought the dvd documentary and cried like a baby, then i bought the book and cried like a baby!! This is what wildlife conservation should be about, its heartwarming stuff!!! One of if not the MOST beautiful story of unconditional love between a lion and humans. This should be THE clip about saving the life of our precious lions in Africa that we all need to see,to stop these majestic creatures from being wiped off our planet forever.
