Strip them of their ranks, (or rates), have a military trial, throw them in the brig, lose all entitlements to retirement, and pay grades, have them pay compensation to the victim(s), THEN let the civilian courts have a go-round with them, when they are dishonorably discharged from the military. Thank you, Cher for this. I signed.!!! for the victims.

Thanks. This has needed legislation since we integrated women into the force. To date the efforts have been pablum as compared to the problem and back turning. One Air force light colonel may have opened the door at last.

These numbers of rapes in the military are grossly low. Too man get unreported. I reported my 'incident' and didn't get very far. That was 1978. I am so saddened that this is a growing problem with the military in this day and age.

P.S.: 'm willing to bet that when the sexual integration of the armed forces was suggested, people who resisted the idea were concerned, to some extent, that possible female POWs might be raped by an enemy. So, we have become our own enemy??!!

This whole business, gives us an indication, of the importance our military places on respect for women, and unfortunately, society as a whole.
It will only change when women demand it and refuse to have anything to do with males, who don't.

The time is now, or should I say, YESTERDAY.
