So, Lone Pine, want to frack UNDER THE ST. LAWRENCE RIVER !!!!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??????? You and others of your ilk have been doing a wonderful job of contaminating our ground water, as well as our land and air. Not one penny should be given to you......I am thinking that all the previous fracking you have been involved in......has had a tremendous affect on your thinking skills...Perhaps you will become the first person to be named as an example of what we could expect from the results of fracking on a human........

Here's my take on it, if you want to do any fracking you should be required to put up one trillion dollars in cash and additionally pay treble damages for any environmental damage you cause.

Out of that trillion dollars every person affected negatively, other than employees of the corporation, should be given a million dollars. If it's not worth it to you, then there's no reason to do it in the first place.

Fracking for gas under the St. Lawrence River - Now there is a clever idea.
This way they can contaminate all the underground water and the St. Lawrence at the same time. Maybe they get lucky and find a way to drain the river at the same time.
Lets be honest folk, we all know that we can live without water but have to have smelly, poisonous gas.

They are IDIOTS.

This is just priceless!

Big Business, now, has the b@@ls to believe they have the 'right' to destroy our planet, to whatever degree they choose.
What have we done? We voted into office, legislators who would allow any money making entity to disregard the will of the citizens, at least the citizens with any morals.
If enormous amounts of money were not involved, this would not be even close, to a contentious issue.

This truly pisses me off. A major river that primarily rests in Canadian territory and these yahoos think they can destroy that beauty and all that goes with it. I have travelled the river, I lived in Montréal, and I have travelled the Gaspé. Québec, stand your ground.

This is really the last straw, a company thinking they have the "right" to frack and destroy OUR planet so they can fill their coffers. Lone Pine also seems to think they should be compensated for not having the right to pollute the St. Lawrence River. This is fracking disgusting.
I have traveled Canada, it is a beautiful country, unique in every way. Congratulations Canadians, for standing up to fracking, please also include tar sands companies. They are just as harmful.
