Three Mile Island in PA was never reopened.........San Onofre should not be reopened either. I do not believe there is compelling evidence that it is safe at any level of operation. If the grid system has enough power..there is no need..........also if the problem cannot be determined....how could "it" be fixed???????

Nuclear reactors that are _not_ defective are frightening enough, let alone restarting one that isn't.

Before any nuclear reactors art built or restarted, they should be required to purchase the land within a 100 mile radius of the structure, due to underground uranium leaks.
In Framingham, MA, between 150 to 300 gallons have leaked into the surrounding land and groundwater.
How many of us, would be willing to live near that area?

Germany is phasing them out, as we speak.
