What a great place for cats that do not have a home. Virginia is just wonderful and the Cattery deserves some attention for recognizing that healthy cats can not stay healthy in cages.

I've just got this special place in my heart for reject and special needs kitties. That's probably why I ended up with so many of them living in my tricked out, handicap equipped sun room!
Virginia is like a little angel cat! I think she knows her purpose and thoroughly enjoys her life doing what she knows she was meant to do.
The Cattery is pretty cool too!!

What a lovely cat. I do hope that someone with a heart as big as Virginian will take her home for ever and love her totally every moment of hr precious and hopefully long life. At least Virginia is in a very loving place, thankfully for her. Texas the more I read about you, I am so glad I was a northerner. I am so glad that there are so really good people in Texas, also.

I am very moved by this story. Virginia is a true beauty with a heart of gold. The Cattery is an amazing place - no cages, no kill. Bless them all both animals and humans.

What a wonderful place and I'm smitten with Virginia. So glad she has a job to do. The therapy thing looks cumbersome, but as long as it works, that's OK.

I had a three-legged cat for whom den mother would be an understatement, she was a goddess. No matter how big my other cats got, they still worshipped her. If we couldn't get one to come in at night (being stubborn or assertive or whatever) we asked her assistance. I don't know how she communicated, but she never moved an inch, and boom - the holdout came in. Not that she couldn't move. When she wanted to, she was a blur.

What a great read! Virginia is quite a kitty isn't she?? I can say that she IS home and doesn't need to go anywhere else. She has a job that she loves and volunteers that love and care for her perfectly. I can't think of a more perfect place for her.....can YOU? :-)

Loved the story. Don't think she should be adopted as she would be very lonely after having all those kittens to look after and love.

Whose heart wouldn't be moved by these little fighters for life??? What a wonderful vet team, to have performed this ticklish surgery for the little mite. I tell you, where there's a will, there's a way, and these marvelous people opted for it! God bless!!!!!

As much as i always hope every animal finds a great home, I think Virginia is a very special cat and is doing what she does best:caring for and readying kittens to be adopted. She's doing more for her species where she is than if she were adopted out.
