A young yak herder, Wangchuk, captured this footage of snow leopards with camera traps provided by the Bhutan Foundation and biologist Tshewang Wangchuk, also a National Geographic Waitt grantee. The yak herder, Wangchuk (who goes by only one name),

Fabulous post kudos to wangchuk and the Bhutan Foudation for raising aweness and caring! There is so little footage or even photos of snow leopards that this is simply fanstastic

I can appreciate the biological interest in this great video, but I am concerned that now they will be hunted and lauded as the next big aphrodisiac in someone's soup. It is past conservation now, it is down to preservation of natural areas.
