Why can't animals just be animals.?!!!! They need to be left where they belong, in their free roaming habitat, not where we want and place them.!!!! Emergencies are different, sometimes they need our help.!!!

"The Wild Animal Sanctuary has already agreed to handle the expenses associated with Diego’s relocation. Diego’s original owner has agreed to do whatever is necessary to relocate Diego to the Colorado sanctuary. All that’s needed now is PROFEPA’s permission. By signing this petition, you are urging PROFEPA to approve the plan to relocate Diego to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, where he will receive the expert care, space, and social interactions that he needs to lead a happy life."
Gladly signed & Noted & Thanks for posting Cher!

Absolutely Signed! There is no excuse for this kind of cruelty, especially when the means is already there for rescue. Sometimes I think that there are just sadistic people who enjoy the suffering of something or someone weaker. This makes me think of the horror stories that Vietnam POW's told about being put into tiny cages for months and sometimes years.
Those that lived can verbalize to us and communicate the horror of it. These animals have no voice. Thank you Cher for being a voice for the voiceless.

There is absolutely no need to keep this poor lion confined when any expense of moving him to Colorado sanctuary will be covered. It is cruel and uneccessary - why are they dragging their heels over such a perfect solution for all involved, especially Diego. Red tape at it's worst.
