I'm thankful we already have a houseful of furniture because I don't think I'd much like a glass environment to live in, glass shelving and tables do not sound so attractive to me as wood. Thank goodness we won't be confronted with this predicament.

Very interesting. I didn't know wooden furniture and shelving were less sustainable than those made of glass. I like the modern look so I'll certainly keep it in mind.
