We have reached the last stand for Sumatran orangutans, but it's not too late to save them.

You cannot currently send a star to Cher because you have done so within the last day.

Thanks for signing the petition. We'll be in touch soon with more ways you can take action to call on the US snack industry to protect Indonesia's rainforests and the people and wildlife, like endangered Sumatran orangutans, who depend on them.

Many Americans are being made into unwitting accomplices in the destruction of Indonesia's rainforestsówhich provide crucial habitat for a number of endangered species like the Sumatran orangutanóbecause palm oil is in half of all the products on their neighborhood grocery store's shelves. In the months ahead, we're going to tackle this problem at its source.

I live in South Africa and feel that we should also be able to take a stand against destroying rain forests and the wildlife that gets destroyed in the process.

Could not believe my eyes when shopping at Sprouts yesterday and there on a display end cap were stacks of Red Palm Oil in jars! I think it may be trending due to Dr. Oz endorsement of palm oil in the recent past, although he may have retracted it by now. We must read each label so that we avoid paying into this and other destructive, killing activities.
