Indonesia has done absolutely nothing to stop the extinction of it's animals or protect it's environment. It's the equivalent of selling one's mother for a buck. That gov't is so corrupt; I don't know that there's any hope for that country.

The way things seem to be going and the small sentences handed down, I give that species 6 yrs tops. What can we do from here?? Petition, so Indonesian govt knows more than environmental groups know, but the world is watching them??

As an Indonesian, the fact that the Indonesian government has done very little effort, if at all, to protect animals, especially the species indigenous to Indonesia, has always saddened me... I am still hoping that one day the government will finally lend an ear to the pleas of the activists, environmentalists, and basically any animal lovers to save the animals.... It is a very small hope, but still...

Oh yes, they continue to discuss and the bastards of the poachers continue to kill. I think that for the next future will be possible to see this majestic creatures only to the zoo :(((
