cats certainly do experince separation anxiety as they are extremely sensitive creatures.

Absolutely! Our family furry members climb into our luggage as soon as the pieces are brought out. We have to keep reassuring them with treats and petting as we pack. When we get home from a trip, they are a bit indignant that they were left behind and require more reassurance.

Some work, some do not. Even if I have a late night out, my cats are a bit out of wack....I get the "where have you been" looks. When I go to bed, they are all with me as an assurance I will not pull this agaIn.

Yes, my mom's kitty passed away 8 months after my mom passed, he was her baby and she did everything for him, the vet told me that he was too sad, that he missed her too much.
