We have a new one. Our little room AC (sorry, it's 94oF and I have to sleep!) vents into a bucket ~ and I'm using the water for my houseplants!

Noted. Now if only apartment owners would follow these suggestions. Both washers were repalced this last yr and not by energy efficient ones. Same with the dryers. My old air conditioner costs bucks to run - so I use my fams more and the ac less.

Who would leave the water running when brushing teeth or shaving? It does not have any purpose at all!

I am mean with water in the house so I can feel OK about what I use on the garden. I run water into a bucket in the kitchen and bathroom till it gets hot. In summer that goes on the plants, in winter it goes in the washing machine. It really mounts up!

Cher, this website you shared has some really great green ideas, as anyone would expect. It is important for every person to remember that he/she might have water in his home today, but somewhere around the world people are dying because of thirst.
