Lions are predators first, I always remember that.
I love them but they are the big cats, the numero uno and they follow nature.

I am glad the Masaai are becoming lion protectors instead of killers

This was a balanced argument .Of course a compromise has to be met. Are people will not to expand on lion territory? The fact that they have settled , makes it theirs.
Attempts to roll this back will only lead to tragedy.

This Lioness will protect her cubs at any cost. Hear me roar! Did you know that I loved lions? :) Thank you for this article Cher!

Probably a good reason why humans need to be fenced in and let the animals be free.

Kill or be killed is the law of the jungle and, all too often, the law of the city.

As guardians of this planet we must stop the slaughter of the planet's wild animals. Too many humans should not mean the elimination of the animals.

Noted - Love the big cats, and this story shows how cooperation can help save the lions. The fence idea, in this particular case, may be just the thing to separate the livestock, humans, and the lions. We'll have to watch and see.
