Warning, before reading have a tissue ready. A touching and beautiful story of real love and longing. With tears flowing, thanks Cher for sharing.

This is one of the most emotionally challanging stories to read/handle for me.
I can only imagine how close his friend was to him.

Heartbreaking and people don't get it that animals HURT/FEEL.

Cher,I appreciate the post. It's hard to take and I saw this already but it's a tough story/reality.

I wanted to add that I'm so happy that Oscar has a new playmate, a kitten called Limpet. That made me happy.

There are too many people out there that just don't understand that animals are incredible. That's even more than a human would do. I'm sad again but he did get a new friend.

I can only imagine how Oscar felt as he lost his friend... To go out and dug the grave and lick the deceased cat clean... They must have this special bond some human just can't understand.
I'm glad he's found a new playmate. Thanks, Cher!

Poor Oscar. He just missed his buddy so much. How sad and he didn't understand why the cat was buried. I'm so glad that he has a new kitten to play with now. And to think there are morons out there who think animals have no feelings. They have more feelings than many "humans". RIP Arthur. Thanks for the loving story, my friend.
