I've tried lots of games to get my cats to exercise, and the results have been pathetic -- but funny.

I take my kitties for walks just like I do to my doggies.

I was going to say great post... it's nice if they can get some activity.

My cats are all leash trained and do take pretty good walks.Sure they might want to lounge a bit but they do walk and three I have walk far. I'm not going to tell you It's easy to leash train them.

Thanks Cher

QfA: " I love my cats dearly, but there's one thing that drives me crazy about them: they're L-A-Z-Y! "
Unfortunately, I cal sign this. Only tricks that works for my sleepers are No 4 - Bird watching and “catching” & No 5 - laser pointer.

My cats exercise by playing with each other. They roll and run around chasing each other. My shears show this....

Noted and thank you for sharing. My cats would play with each other when smaller, but as they aged the only things they played with were the old cigarette wrappers, paperbags and wrapping paper...and the fingers or toes under the blankets, especially when turnng over in the middle of the night. I often wondered if they actually sat there watching for the odd movements here and there...ready to pounce.
