They just cant resist, how can shooting the alligator with an arrow and struggling for two hours to kill it prove anything except that they are heartless and like inflicting pain on other beings. Because the Alligator has teeth and lives near people does that mean its not allowed to live? hunters must think they are Gods, deciding on who lives and who dies.

noted and voted on 9-09-13 I voted NO with 364 supporter's no animal or reptile should ever be hunted, or trapped for any reason we as humans need to understand that we are in their space or there place they call home so people leave the damn animals and reptiles alone go find something better to do with your time.

i couldn't figure out where to vote although I saw the results. My vote would be hell no. I saw the comment from Florida that says people's pets are killed by alligators but look at how many are abused and killed by people every year. I don't see people getting killed for that. I saw that picture on the news and was disgusted not only by the fact that alligator was killed but by the media hype about it. Maybe they should wonder why there are so many alligators there along with all the pythons (is that right( that are there. Once again people are responsible. how many of those alligators started out as pets and were then thrown out because they got too big-just like with the snakes. It always comes back to people and as always the animals suffer for the stupidity of humans.

Voted NO!!! I wonder exactly how old the 13 feet 5.5 alligator was & WHY did those people kill him instead of just letting him live out his natural life span??? They had to have known he was old because of his size... then again, maybe they didn't know!! Incredible stupidity!!!
