It is acts of kindness and bravery like this that give me hope that there are still good people out there who will go to great lengths to help an animal in distress. Bless them for their efforts. I hope the seagull recovers quickly. I had to watch another video that was on the site regarding a helicopter rescuing a mother deer stranded on a frozen lake. Her fawn was able to make it to safety but the mother couldn't do it by herself so the helicopter pilot gently blew her across the ice to safety with the rotors of the helicopter. She didn't seem to steady once she was on land so I can only hope she recovered and is reunited with her baby. Great work to all rescuers! Thanks for Chering.

Well first I have to say that as much as I love saving animals I am glad it was that person and not me up there as I would have been frozen with fear on the edge of that platform. I would also like to say bravo to them for saving a bird who was struggling and surely scared. I am trying to figure out how the bird was tuck on the cable but the important thing is that s/he was rescued. I hope her/his recovery goes well (And that there is recovery).
