Motorists have been slow to warm to electric cars, but they are beginning to make an impact on the car market and are becoming a more familiar sight on our roads. Electric cars have had a lot prove, needing to overcome negative stigmas that have become

The best electric car on the market is the Tesla now able to attain nearly 300 miles on a charge. Though it is a luxury car the prices are rapidly dropping and when an electric charge is combined with a alternative fuel for the electricity we do have a totally GREEN car. Expect other car companies to come out with better cars every year.

Wait until they get a load of scalar wave powered vehicles. Until then, Tesla's the best of the lot.

Don't I wish! Maybe the day will come. Right now, I can't afford a $40,000 hybrid 4WD that gets 17mi with the nearest charging point 150mi away.

Don't drive, but if I did I'd go electric. Gonna send this info to my sons, though with little hope the oldest will even consider giving up his gas hog.

I really want to buy an electric car that has the Power of a gasoline engine. I have a very steep and long(17 miles)hill to climb if I want to go to the nearest Trader Joe's and other cultural activities.

The electric simply can't compete. In fact, many 4 cylinder and even 6 cylinder, gasoline engines have a hard time on the climb. The diesels are in the "slow" lane by necessity. Unfortunately, this is also where the electric cars are as well.
