A Feral Cat Named Cow Keeps Falling in Love With My Dogs

First it was Lucy, my Basset Hound, and now it's Beasley, my one-eyed Pekingese. Cow is part of the family.

Feral cats are incredible! That's why I help and rescue them. Who wouldn't love a Basset and a Pekingese. I sure love my Pekingese.

What a sweet story! I had a feral cat once (I took her in because she was pregnant and didn't want her to have her babies outside). It took about 6 months, but one day she jumped up in my lap and I didn't move for almost an hour! She never did like for me to pick her up, but if I was sitting down anywhere, she would jump up in my lap. Raven has crossed the rainbow bridge, but I still have one of her offspring ( Cleo is 13 yo). So just give it time, Cow will probably warm up to you.

Great story. Thanks for allowing Cow into your home. I had a feral cat that came into my home. I tried for 15 years to make friends with her, and never could. She passed in July and my heart is broken. But never have I regretted letting her into my house or trying to be her friend.

That's a lovely sight to wake up to. Every feral cat is different. We've helped many and some have eventually warmed up to us and some not so much, but even if all we can do is give them food and shelter I'm happy.

A fascinating story. Perhaps at one time in this delightful cat's life he had a home and a special dog companion, but we will never know. Glad to see this bond.
