The tortie is proving cynics wrong as she gains weight and sees her vital organs return to normal.

Bless her little heart. She's had a lot to contend with during her short life.

This is something that absolutely galls me. If I were not a Buddhist I could happily curse people who would do a thing like throw away a pet like it was a piece of used kleenex. . I would like to see them arrested and get exactly what they deserve. I too have just taken in a tiny little mother cat, whose kittens had been taken by some people, but they left HER to fend for herself. They obviously didn't care that she lived in a garage and winter's just around the corner. This kind of thing happens everywhere. The word DESPICABLE is a kind adjective by which to describe people who are cruel, thoughtless, heartless, without conscience, and indifferent to the plight of animals.

She is beautiful. Despite still having some problems, she is one of the luckiest cats around. She was found by people who were caring and has a home, warmth, food, friends and love with people who love her as well as she loves them. Blessings of only the good kind to her.

I'm so glad little Freida is doing well and has beaten the odds that we stacked so unkindly against her with people that act so cruel and as if they have no conscience and just abandon their pets! I am so happy that she was able to escape a cruel destiny and was found by people who had a conscience and capable of love which Frieda and every animal just as us has an inherent right to! Thanks Cher for this inspiring story
