SIGH!! *The loss of lions in Uganda appears to be predominately from cattle herders laying out poisoned bait in retaliations for losses to their livestock*.

Can understand the herders wanting to protect their herds, but there must be a way for them to both protect their herds and save the lions.

Uganda clearly needs to ask for help before its too late.

The cattle herders must be provided with night time corrals to protect the livestock- and if the livestock are unattended during the day and taken by a lion, then the herders get NO compensation!
