QftA: "He faces a year behind bars for one count of felony animal cruelty and one gross-misdeamenor count of obstructing the legal process"
Just a year & Itís not definite that monster shall be convicted at all! Oh, how I would like to wipe out that smile from his face!

A year and that's it. This demonic brutal rubbish should not be given the opportunity of jail where he gets his meals, a place to sleep etc and then comes out to most likely do the same thing to another animal. No, I say animal lovers should unite, take him somewhere to a deserted place and break every damn bone in his pathetic body - leave him to die in agony with no help or mercy shown - this is what this poor innocent animal must have felt. May she RIP precious angel - you are safe at the feet of God and away from the atrocities of those very humans who were supposed to have cared for you. What he did could never be redeemed!

RIP dearest Millie. Please play with our pets who have crossed Rainbow Bridge. You can stay with whomever you want to stay with. Everyone loves you.

A year in jail is a travesty of justice. May this bastard rot and fester in jail

One year?? Hardly sounds like justice. Maybe he'll croak in the slammer??

Pne year may not be justice, but it's better than nothing - which we've seen happen. Sad.

A year behind bars really is not justice. Rudolph Poppe used a sledgehammer over and over, 15 times in all to kill defenseless dog. Poppe's disabled wife also has filed an order for protection against him.
We live in sad and sick world. I'm very sorry for Millie.
Thank you dear Cher.

All of the abuse cases hurt, but especially with a dog who had my Mom's name......

Yes, one year is better than the proverbial 'slap on the wrist.'
