Maybe they are not extinct but have learned enough about humans to stay well hidden. It is an unusual looking animal, with a head like a canine but is a carnivorous marsupial. Stay well hidden my friend, humans are your enemy.

I think if it has not been seen in 80 years, it probably is extinct.
