Please reconsider your position on hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, immediately and instead champion clean energy sources which do not risk our global climate, the natural environment and our health.

Noted only as I don't think it's ethical to use a post code that isn't really mine. Obviously, they are only seeking signers who are truly being effected by this abominable process.

Thanks Cher..signed with pleasure...our own "lock the gate" happening where I live in Australia..some of our farmlands and waterways are under threat from coal and gas..but in some areas it is the dangerous mineral antimony, it's as bad as arsenic.

M
any thanks Cher, and many thanks Curzio , it's very important that we all sign, the postal codes separate us, what ever, and when ever, bad things threaten our planet, it WILL effect all of us sooner or later.....

I live in Australia and I could sign the petition by excluding the zip/postcode..excepted name and email address only...normally if a 5 digit zip is required (Australia only has 4) I put a zero as the first digit and when printed on the petition it shows an Australian postcode which makes my signature valid. In this instance it was not accepted - so I left it blank, which indicates to the petition receiver that it is a signature from outside of the UK, which is still counted as a valid signature. I know we all want to do the right thing by our beloved planet..but if the petition receiver suspects that the signatures have been boosted by incorrect data on behalf of the signers..they can call it an invalid petition and not table it..the petition is just shredded..I know it's hard but they are the rules and believe me...if they don't want to hear the voice of the people..they do cross-checks..I am an avid petition signer and I like my signature to count every time..

@ Ros you're right, definitely sign petitions with a false address is wrong.
I to sign petitions only reserved for US residents, I received some warning and evaluation emails by U.S. administrations.
I was warned that my name might be reported and that I could have visas problems (ESTA) if I wanted to enter the U.S..
But sometimes petitions are extremely important and require more signatories as possible, so in that case I think I'd rather exceptional sign and take this risk, hoping that the petition will have a positive outcome, or at least be able to attract the attention of the recipient.
