So glad the virus seems to be burning out at In-Sync and hoping the surviving cats have developed a passive immunity. I'm just nervous the virus is still hot in the raccoon population and may re-appear.
The outbreaks at Wayside Waystation, Shambala, Naibi, and In-Sync were far apart in time and distance, so it's not far-fetched that another hot spot could flare up.

Don't rest yet. There are others lurking in the background.

Ruth- a virus can kill dozens before its finished. Talk to any shelter owner.

Big cats at Wylie's In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Refuge are being treated for symptoms of canine distemper, which is believed was brought in by raccoons. How very sad. I do hope the others can be saved.
Thank You Cher.
