This twisted “wolf derby” is a horrifying example of what happens when wolves are prematurely stripped of Endangered Species Act protection. Over 161 wolves have already been killed in Idaho since this year’s hunting and trapping seasons began. Idaho wolves can’t bear to lose more mothers, pups and pack leaders than they already have. -- Thanks Cher

Tragic and horrifying at the same time. We must do our utmost to prevent this. Thank you Cher for circulating and thank you everyone for signing and sharing.

Organizers of this killing competition admit that one purpose of the event is to show the world that no one can stop them from killing wolves – not you, not me, and especially not the federal government. Next weekend their twisted wish will come true if Governor Otter and the Director of Idaho Fish and Game don’t take immediate action to stop this mass killing from taking place. What a twisted rationale these cretins have. They should kill each other and let the wolves be. Done-again!

You’ve taken the first step to help protect wolves in Idaho and across the country - won’t you take the next step and make a donation today?

Can't afford a donation but if I were a billionaire I surely could afford to! Thnx Cher!! BTW I think it's interesting that it's up to an 'otter' to save the wolves; let's just pray he's a good little otter and does what he's told!

Is killing life the new turn of entertainment? destroying life to become the new top fun sport? has life no meaning beyond your own? They love their their families and pups, they bond, they hunger thirst ,they fear, they have souls and emotions , and even their blood is red like ours..and when on the 6th day God Created them He called them good. Wolves and coyotes are needed , and should be respected for their part in this life on earth. They are a spiritual living breathing life. Please stop look and listen to their beauty and worth. Respect life instead of destroying it.
