What a great article. Mot commonly lnown, but Dalmations commonly start to lose their hearing after 8-10 years. When you have love the dog since a puppy, you're not about to give it up. It's amazing how well these dogs adapt knowing the "routine " since a little one.

Great article.... Of course they can live with a little help.
I had one cat that lost her hearing and was just fine.
I also fostered a dog that lost her hearing and she was great. Learned hand movements easily (So did my cat).
