An accident cost the cat use of his back legs, but a woman soon stepped in to give him daily care.

I have a blind and deaf rescue cat that is the most lovable guy you have ever seen. To find his way around he howls and the echos off the walls lets him know where he is. He also paws his water and food to find out exactly where it's at.

My words exactly, Malgorzata! Beautiful cat, wonderful owner.
I wish people weren't so hesitant about special needs kitties. Most of them don't really need very specialized care, nothing you can't learn in a flash, and it becomes so routine it doesn't seem special.
Their courage and determination is so inspiring. You watch them figure things out and do things in a way that seems perfectly natural...kind of humbling when you think what a tizz we make out of next to nothing.

I'm glad the needs of the cat were brought up. You may be considering a special needs animal, just think before you commit.

Please sign my petition to the Humane Society of the United States asking them to change the laws to help Rescue Groups. These people are doing this on a volunteer basis and using all their own resources. I am hoping my petition can help them in some way by forcing the animal abusers to pay a fine to the Rescue Groups.
