A woman read a Facebook post about the German Shepherds left outside when it was 40 below zero.

There are two feral cats that show up often for food. I was concerned about them freezing so I took my two cat carriers, covered them with plastic, bought a bale of straw to make them both cozy beds in the carriers, put them under my house out of any wind and put a mechanics hanging light with a 75 watt bulb in between the carriers to help generate a little heat (old style lightbulbs). I made sure they had plenty of food right there and water that wasn't frozen. They both took advantage of the accomodations and made out fine.

The two dogs' owner should have done something to help his dogs. Maybe he should spend a couple days with the same kind of weather and accomodations his poor dogs had and see if he might then cop a clue.

How very sad people are stupid enough or simply uncaring to leave their animals outside in such extreme weather freezing or roasting!!!!

I've had a neighbor kill three dogs now from leaving them outside in frozen weather, and the local humane society says their "hands are tied." We quit frequenting her business because of it. There's simply no excuse for any domesticated animal freezing to death.

Not exactly a lot of time to change laws with these uncaring selfish owners is there, like if the weather temperature drops its going to kill the poor animals within a day.

People who commit crimes like this one, end up paying for it, because nothing gets away from God!

I've just to thank that there are people around that not simply turn their heads the other side. Thanks Cher.
