Thanks for posting Cher. I hadn't appreciated that a lap top uses so much less energy than a desk top computer.

Noted. Thank you. I learnt that my laptop uses far less electricity than a conventional PC.

I do all that except when i got a huge bonus i bought a LG energy efficient washing machine that only uses enough water to wash in. As long as you dont overfill it it.. I love it, its worth the money spent on it..

also I didnt know that about laptops but I do have a desktop that I use for work. A lot of the places do not want you to work off a laptop because they are to easy to steal in fo off of when you have to connect on wifi

Put every small electrical appliance on a surge protector and turn them off except when in use. How many clocks (even on the microwave), do you really need? And one heretical one, I know -- try wearing your clothes more than once. Come on, do your jeans REALLY need to be washed every time they get a bit of dirt on them? Recycle every piece of non-glossy paper. If you can't use it, find someone with a wood-stove who can, then make sure the ash gets put back into the ground -- great biochar that benefits every growing thing.
