Cute story. I tried to rescue a stray stuck in my tree really late one night. When I got the ladder and got up there, it went down on its own. I also have a 100% indoor cat that got out one day and as I was looking for her, I heard dogs about 4 houses down constantly barking. Sure enough, my cat was in their trees. I asked them to call their dogs in so I could get my cat. They pulled the dogs in, I went back to get my ladder and when I got there, my cat was already down. She went down as soon as the dogs went inside. She hasn't gotten out since. I don't think she wants to. Thanks for the link, Cher.
