The rarest and most critically endangered cat on earth ~ and why? Poaching and lack of habitat due to roads and development which also causes depletion of prey animals. Even the remaining Amur tigers take a tremendous toll.
I'm beginning to believe the inevitable.

Wow, fascinating, but sad information. I'd hate to be a mother who has to decide which of my kids to take care of. I understood that Tibetan monks were beginning to take part in Amur Leopard habitat protection, and that the cats were beginning to rebound.

Thank you for sharing this interesting video of the Amur Leopard. What a decision the mother has to make, when having 3 kittens. The weakest wil not get enough food to survive.But that is Nature.
The best invention in recent years are the camera traps. So much information has been gained from them.
