"Don’t ignore your leaky toilet because it can waste up to 750litres of water each day. That is a huge amount of water to simply pour down the drain – literally. Fix that darn toilet already."

And leaky faucets! Thanks Cher.

We have always been mindful of the amount of water we use but now our water is metered we have an added incentive. Currently we pay £40.00 (US$66.00) per month, there are only 2 of us plus our dog, we don't fancy it going any higher.

In the last several years, we have been very particular on the amount of water we use. The ice cubes are a neat trick! Thanks for sharing Cher.

Good ideas. I keep a bucket in my shower to catch all the cold water; then shower in warm water. The bucket of water can be used to flush the toilet or water plants. Thanks for the article.
