One of the most beautiful cats in the world! Please don't call the police if you see this rare cat around your home cos all they do is kill them...just leave them alone.

What ever happened to firing blanks to scare the animal away? Am I asking a stupid question?

Police are not interested in conservation and a Lynx does not prefer to hang around if they see humans so there is not much of a chance that there will be public safety issues. More like the police are in a hurry to get to Timmy's and shooting is the quickest but not the smartest action that they can take. Leave the Lynx alone, they are not hurting anyone.

Cantin said the MNR is recommending people remove bird feeders, as they attract squirrels, which are eaten by lynx. She added pet food should not be left outdoors, and dogs should be kept on a short leash when out for a walk. Makes sense does it not. The should not be killing the lynx!
Thanks Cher.
