When I could, I farmed a small patch organically. As long as the soil is healthy, the plants are healthy. Healthy plants do not attract pests. If they come any way, there are ways to protect your garden that does not use poison. Companion planting, sugar to kill nematodes, crop rotation, heavy mulching, the list is long.
