Brilliant! Bright idea! Enlightening! I've always wondered about the feasibility of doing this for tigers/wildlife in general.

We do a lot of outdoor entertaining in summer and we ended up putting lights around our yard to deter the bears and coonies ~ attracted no doubt by the delicious smells of my spectacular cooking. It works very well!!

Excellent green way to protect people and thus spare tigers from retaliatory killings.

Noted and article read. What a great idea! The project ‘Lights for Stripe’ is an initiative of WWF-India. The objective of the project is to install solar lights along the edge of villages on the border areas of the tiger reserve so that tigers can be deterred from entering the villages. Thanks Cher.
