The plastic bag issue, has really gotten to me. I go to the supermarket, and see dozens of people without bags in their cart. For God;s sake, you can buy a bag at a Dollar Store!

Absolutely love these Go Green Bullets! I'm going to share this article on my Facebook page when it gets a little closer to Earth Day. Would like to emphasize that growing & canning your own food really saves a great deal of waste as the glass jars are re-used rather than discarded. Our household pretty much lives this list & we are almost @ zero waste level. TY, Cher!

April also means Passover. This year, many are supplementing their Seders with readings on human trafficking, and/or sustainability. Here is a beautiful reimagining of the 10 plagues in honor of Rachel Carson (she died 50 years ago this Monday): http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rabbi-fred-scherlinder-dobb/sustainability-at-the-seder_b_5106336.html

I'm proud of myself & husband... We do a lot of those 22 tips. Love, love, love gardening! Yum! Composting is fun, easy, & feeds those delicious treats! Takes time, but so worth it!

Lots of tips, which should be not just for Earth Day but every day. I do most of them already, and they are easy to get into habit with.

I agree that every day is earth day. If every single person gave a hoot we all would be better off.
