I fear these girls may be dead, and once again reactionary religious politics shows it's true color, the color of death.

Signed and Noted with thanks Cher. The situation in Nigeria has been terrible for many years. It is annoying to me that it takes so long for the world to find out about stories of what is happening to young women in Nigeria. This was an abduction of 200!! The parents have no help at all.

These girls aren't "dead" - the abductors announced to their parents that they are "now the brides of the fighters".
In other words, they were RAPED and made into SEX SLAVES, now probably "belonging" to particular powerful men. Who are not going to give them up for any reason.

This is what they want ALL Women to be - "knowing their place". And their place is NOT "studying for final exams".
This is like THEATER, like DRAMA, like PROPAGANDA.
The timing, etc. was CALCULATED.
Another version of "barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen/bedroom"...

Signed, second one today. But after all it is Nigeria, so perhaps the police the were told they were all Gay and rounded them up and put them in a nice secluded Camp to await trial. After all the Nigerians with their Brand New "Jail All The Gays Law" is rounding up Gays by the hundred. So if one were an ill-tempered old Gay one could just say, "KARMA.", and be done with it.
