I guess not keeping wild animals as pets doesn't apply when they're cute and cuddly?

Noted. This is an AWWWWWW videos. Understand that the squirrel probably doesn't have the skills to live on it's own.

It would not survive in the wild. Keeping a solo baby squirrel, especially one raised by a cat, as a pet, is not exactly bad behavior Barbara.

sweet......some of our "wild" squirrels are so tame you would think they were hand raised pets.

The baby squirrel was lucky to be found and adopted by the mother cat as one of her "kittens". It would have not lasted long otherwise. There is also a good chance the mother squirrel wasn't around any more since so many morons find it entertaining to shoot squirrels and quite of few of squirrels get electrocuted if there are power lines nearby that they walk across.
