My corgi does the same thing, and has separation anxiety in the car, and when I'm not home. She has a Thunder shirt, which has reduced her anxiety for a few years now. Glad to read that Moxie was taken to the vets quickly, and is now recovering. Thanks, Cher for this.

OMG what a sweety, so glad he's okay! Sounds like they may have to get a companion animal for this little guy! Thanks Cher, that is definitely a miracle!

Very scary, this could have turned out very differently, the will have to make sure Moxie can't escape again

Poor pup!! Tell him dogs aren't supposed to try out for the High Rise Club. I had a dog who demolished a bedroom door during a thunderstorm ~ thank goodness my three now have no phobias.

I hope you learned your lesson Mr Moxie. No windows, learn how to open the front door. Better yet, your mom needs to not leave you home alone again. Lucky dog!

Maybe closing the window would have been a start?

The anxiety level might have been lower, and the dogproofing better, if they had left him at his own home rather than a lunch friend's home, while at lunch.

Moxie is one lucky dog, and I don't think she will try this again.

Wow, what a lucky dog. I'm so happy that he survived and I hope his injuries heal quickly. I hope he remembers not to jump from that high up again. Thanks, my friend.

After my first two rescues, which I didn't have in a pack, and watching how upset they were to be left totally alone while I went to work, I promised NEVER to keep just a single animal again. At least if they're left alone with others to play / cuddle with, the anxiety level is so much less.
