A little otter visited our pond. Not sure if he is a sea or river otter. Made his way up from an estuary so probably of the horses went to drink from the pond and up pops the otter startling the horse.. The otter seemed to think it quite funny. Mischievous little critters.

Lovely pictures of my favorite subjects - animals and the environment. Didn't like the reindeer picture but it's a lesson for humans to pick up after themselves. This earth belongs to all.

Love the little marmoset, hate the fire danger sign at Stanislaus ~ my old stomping (and camping!) grounds.

As always, dear Cher, thanks for the weekly treats!

There were some beautiful pictures, but so many of them highlighted the decline of the environment, and how man and animals just can't seem to live in harmony SIGH.

Thanks, Cher, beautiful pictures again, although some were disturbing. The skeleton of the reindeer told a story of a horrible death within walking distance of the village. And "have recently been eradicated by South Georgia." didn't bode well either.
