The Three Gorges Dam has done irreparable damage to China.
Not only have 1.3 million+ people been displaced, but entire towns
and villages have been submerged, places where people and their
ancestors had lived for thousands of years. The dam has submerged
Buddhist temples containing priceless, ancient artwork that can now
only been seen by scuba divers. The pollution the dam is causing is
actually to be expected, being that these ARE the Chinese we're talking
about. No way to describe this whole thing without using the word 'cluster'.....
if ya know what I mean.
Thanks, Cher.
