A Lawtey man has been charged with killing a Florida black bear. The bear is a threatened species, and killing one is a third-degree felony. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Glen Earl Wilkerson shot a 400-pound male bear

How stupid can this person be!!! I hope they put him in prison for a long time. I'm also glad they caught him most of them don't. this is so sad this bear loosing his life to a low life as to this thing how inhumane. thank you Cher C. noted

If the bear killed him, then the bear would be killed for killing. Doesn't seem fair. Bears are so disrespected, all around the world.

Poaching IS a serious crime - this is generally accepted by hunters.
