Britain's finest scientific minds have led the world investigating everything from stem cell technology to the fabric of space and time itself. But now they have turned their attention to the study of a problem that they claim is threatening the future

O.K. now I've heard everything. I wonder when "man" will start culling animals because they are farting! How about the concept of Beano for cattle? There are plenty of people I know that need to be stopped as well. LOL Thanks Cher

Why can't they think of a way it can be collected and use it to power the farm vehicles?

Karen, were you talking about me?!
Really, this IS going too far.
Deborah has the right idea, and
that's what they SHOULD be doing,
research a way of harvesting those
farts. They're pure energy.
Thanks, Cher.

This is all total BULL (excuse the pun)

Mankind has farmed for millions (if not billions) of years - much more so than what we are seeing nowadays.

Wake up folks - cant you see they want to destroy the food chain.

The wheat is at serious risk (bye bye to the essential food staples)
Fruit is at risk - the honey bees are disappearing fast.
Now let`s rid the world of farm animals.

So what you gonna eat? (each other?)

What a pity livestock feed conversion efficiency work has to pretend to address the dreaded gorebull warming to attract funding. The work is critically important in its own right but hitching it to a mythical problem may be the wrong strategy in the end. Regardless of what temperature is doing and, as we have so often said, globally averaged temperatures are only of interest if you happen to reside in the mythical realm "Globally Averaged," otherwise they are merely an artificially contrived curiosity,
atmospheric methane

appears to have reached equilibrium and is no longer rising. In fact,
it may even be falling

First the BEE DIE-OFF
Now the BAT DIE-OFF

People really should be starting to PANIC when they can hear how they`re planning to get rid of the farm animals.

I`ll ask you again : WHAT YER GONNA EAT ?

The ultimate plan - and you can dismiss it at your peril - is for MASS STARVATION.

...Billions of years?...Destroy the food chain?...Gorebull warming?...What the ...? What are you people talking about. Just stop enslaving, raping, and slaughtering sentient nbeings. That simple. You'll be healthier for it.
Go Vegan!

PS The UN report, Livestock's Long Shadow, says the same thing. Livestoock is one of the top contributors to environmental degradation.

Funny. American complaining that there isn't enough food.

Every health organization in America recognizes the superiority of the Vegan diet. Dietitians are legally obligated to guide and encourage anyone who wants to become Vegan. Join the movement for compasion and reason.

I wouldnt want to frighten you but when crops fail, and there`s no fruit, and NO meat, then the only food source left is yourselves.

History documents that topic.

Canabalism in times of starvation

If you think these practices only go on in deepest Africa, think again.
When people are starving they turn on each other, and is often documented they start on the babies and children first.

Sorry if that sounds frightening, but it calls for strong words when people are just too blind (NO, too dumb) to start to see through what the plans of the NWO are.

Seriously Robert! If people want to reduce methane emmitted from farm animals so badly they should just stop encouraging the meat industry to breed mass ammounts of animals by buying so many of the dead creatures. That would solve more than just the methane problem but the water pollution problem, and much of the food poisoning problem, many of America's health problems, and the moral problem as well.

When I say the water pollution problem I mean their poop getting into the water and hurting people who drink it or going to water crops and filling them with disease that people will get when they eat those plants.

Declan: Bees are relatively new to the U.S., they were brought here from Europe in the 1691 (http://www.uco.es/grupos/cyted/padilla_563_567.pdf). Guess what, people in North America were eating veggies and fruits before there were bees. Let's just go back to native plants, and voila, problem.

Well, more chemicals pumped into lifestock, chemicals scientists probably insist will harm neither lifestock nor human. Right, as if we could believe a single word uttered by scientists who have sold their souls to the meat industry.

How about fart bags? Valve bag fitted on animals posterior emptied daily into a tank and - it's a gas! Any takers?

It's time to start respecting all living beings, honoring all lifes. It'll solve the most urgent climate change problem, with added bonus of health, economy, world hunger, war.... otherwise, we will to go together with the animals! It's called cause and effect or KARMA!

Cut animal methane = cut animal life

Cut animal life = cut food production

Cut food production = reduce human population

Reduce human population = Chapter 14 again!!

Chapter 14

Those who have total authority over the food chain exercise TOTAL CONTROL over the popularion, and dont ever doubt that.

I read alot of comments on c2 about all this (alleged) co2, and various suggestions as to how each person believes the (alleged) problem can be resolved.

Surprisingly however, and what I have not yet read are suggestions that people should (1) GIVE UP THEIR CAR(S) and (2) STOP FLYING for vacations.

So how about we exercise some honesty here.
Ther are 74 c2 members who have noted this thread.
HOW MANY of you own a car?
HOW MANY of you own more than one car?
HOW MANY of you have a SUV (or other gaz guzzling model)
HOW MANY of you will be taking a flight this year so as to go on vacation?

Before you start supporting cutting back the food chain, dont you think that your concerns should start right there with yourselves?

Before telling everyone they would be healthier if they didnt eat meat, then start to look at how much healthier you yourselves could be if you started to WALK instead of cruisin` round in that SUV !!
No disrespect intended, but it is common knowledge just how unhealthy Americans are generally.

Vacations and cars are not an essential.
Our ancestors had neither of those things.
Our ancestors did farm however, and they did hunt for food.
Strange how they had no co2 problems, and if they did, then they lived with it, and many knew how to get out of harms way, or how to move elsewhere when the climate became unfavourable to them.

At a time when we are hearing governments claim that they wish to reduce co2, then is it not strange how the British government (for example) has not kicked up against the new runway and extension at Heathrow airport?

If they are as concerned as they claim, then why do they not just crack down and say: `no more vacation flying` and only allow flights for essential business trips, or families who do have family members abroad.

In the same vain of thought, what about NASA?
How much co2 do you think is produced every time those rockets are sent into space?
Is space exploration such an essential?
Our ancestors never explored space lol.

Can you not decern all the hypocracy here?

Travel companies and airports are a billions of pounds/dollars industry.
The same as the car industry is.
The governments will never target these companies because no doubt they have `shares` in these companies, yet they see fit to target the farmers who are already struggling to make a living.

Please, please wake up to reality, or might it be you will only see that when you and your families are starving to death.
