These days we're constantly bombarded with media messages touting the latest and greatest eco-saviors. Compact fluorescent light bulbs save the polar bears! Bamboo clothes redefine eco-agriculture and couture fashion! Mineral makeup pretties-up your face

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. It is up to us, not Al Gore or Capitol Hill, to find the truth.

We have the responsibility of learning that a 'green' company is not green. We know companies lie - just look at 'Beyond Petroleum'.

There are some basic truths, such as reduce consumption of resources, and labelling of products, for example, how much fossil fuel to produce, how much water.

Keep up the good work!

I agree that eternal vigilance is needed on all fronts... freedom isn't free, quoting one of my good friends... and compact fluorescent bulbs don't save the polar bears, but they do save me on my electric bill

That's scary about the mineral makeup... the cost of beauty these days. I hope they're pulled of the market.
