Not to be a downer here but where were all these people before this??? I mean it is good news, but what about all the poor dogs before this???

i just got a rescue when she first came 4 days ago you could see the sadness in her eyes.she looked so sad we thought that was how she was going to look. now her ears are perked her eyes are bright there is always hope out there for these babies. we have 2 now and woulnt give a dime for we also have a purebread they need homes to we got from the breeder our selves

I think the media needs to do more stories like this on TV to bring peoples attention to the plight of the animals. People get busy with their lives but do watch the news, if they could do a segment every night & show the animals perhaps more people would adopt, who could resist?
